Puerto Princesa City Tour: Mitra's Ranch (Travel Date: April 24, 2018) |
After our El Nido Tour A and Tour C, plus Underground River Tour, hubby and I decided it's time for us to explore the whole city of Puerto Princesa. Most tourists rent a tricycle for this, others have joiners' van. But we chose to rent a motorcycle so that we could see different city attractions on our own phase. Also, hubby and I love to travel via motorcycle, and when I say travel it means Manila to Tagaytay or Manila to Baguio-- that far! So exploring the city through motorcycle was the easiest way and most convenient for us. We just asked our landlady if she know someone who has a motorcycle we can rent, and then that's it.
This is one of the several posts I made about our Trip to Palawan. Here are the links to other posts for your convenience:

Mitra's Ranch
First place we went to was the famous ranch of late Senator Ramon Mitra. Inside there's a little resthouse that consists of different memorabilias, antiques, and newspaper clippings about the family. They said this place used to be a private property but then they later on open it for the public to see.
There's a veranda where you can enjoy the scenery of the whole ranch. We went there just in time for the sunrise. |
You need to take off your footwear before entering the house. |
One of my joys in entering museums/showrooms like this is reading old newspaper clippings. |
I also want to have my very own gong! |
That's a beautiful portrait of Mr. Mitra |
There were old photos of the Senator. |
Paintings |
Interesting Items |
Huge Mirror! |
More antiques! |
That's all for Mitra's Ranch.
Next stop: Baker's Hill
See you in a bit.
Love,
