Yes, definitely, Revlon Colorstay is here to stay . I believe that the greatest asset of Revlon Colorstay Foundation is the foundation formula itself. You may hate it for any other reasons such as no pump, limited color selection, and tricky application, but you will definitely keep on reaching out for this foundie because the formula itself is so irresistible in terms of coverage, longevity, and finish that somehow you finally understood why this drugstore foundation have created a cult in the beauty arena.   Did I just make a little speech out of Revlon Colorstay Foundation? Treats for My Skin Courtesy of Gluta

This is a long and overdue post about the free facial and diamond peel given by the lovely people of Gluta. I am not the one to get facials because I am not comfortable getting under someone else's hands. (This is the reason why I keep on coming back to the same hairstylist). But this is free so might as well try it. (Who doesn't want free stuff anyway?) The event happened last month at Gluta booth, Robinsons Manila. This is part of the launch of their Gluta White and Firm line, which according to the lady, the first product line that was able to produce all whitening products in just one launch (facial wash, lotion, soap, moisturizer, etc.) Gluta Advance White and Firm Products Now back to the facial, they first remove my makeup with a cleanser, then they further cleaned my whole face with another cleanser. New Year, New Traincase

Make-up is a hobby I can no longer resist, that I must admit. I am in love.  Though some may see cosmetics as artificial and materialistic, I see it as art, full of techniques and colors. I no longer see it as vanity, I see it as a skill to enhance what is already there, to bring out what is hidden, and to somehow create what is missing. I look at the actresses in TV and looked at the details of their blush or shadows or even the shape of their eyes and I tried to imagine what did the makeup artist applyon their face. I long to do more of this, and I hope I can continue this passion. Anyhoo, if that ain't being too melodramatic about makeup, let me continue by happily sharing with you, dear reader, that I finally got a traincase. Jazzy Collections Eyebrow Gel

I was doing a little stroll along beauty section when the sales assistant asked me, "Ma'am, ano pong nilagay niyo sa kilay nio, ang ganda kasi e, sanay na sanay kayo magkilay..." "Maam, what product did you use on your eyebrows? You are really good on doing your brows!"  Truth is, I wasn't always this good with brows. I had my fair share of uneven brows, messy brows, overplucked, bushy, wrong shape, wrong curves. Curly Find: Dove Nourishing Curls Whipped Cream Mousse

Living in a country where straight hair rules, finding a good styling product for the curly hair is such a pain in the ey-ess-ess. For the past few months, I've been experimenting on different hair products, mixing and jumbling all sorts of creams, mousse, gels, etc etc. Product after product, layers after layers.  I honestly sometimes feel like going back to straight hair is way easier and economical, than spending so much money on hair products, but then I do love my current buhahag hairstyle- I feel some sense of uniqueness and personality with this kind of hair- so I think I wold just go on with this journey and just enjoy every part of it. Pieces of my Month: AUGUST 2015

Last year, I did some kind of a monthly gratitude list wherein I gather all images of important happenings in my life for that certain month. I never get to do that this year so I am planning to do it once more. It has helped me to become more positive in life even though I have been struggling with lots of things and that my life is too far from being perfect. Also, I want to realize that there are certain things I need to be grateful for because sometimes I am not able to see good things happening around me. So in accordance of my "coming back to blogging" thang and because this is also part of my birthmonth celebration, I am listing down some pieces of my August. BDJ FAIR 2015

This is my third time to go to this yearly event hosted by BDJ. First time, I went with a friend (Well, hello Ghem!). The next one, boyfie was with me. This time, I decided to just go by myself . I tried to maximize the event so I spent the whole afternoon going from one booth to another. I also pre-registered to two talks/seminars to get an insight or two. If you haven't heard of them yet, BDJ is a community of empowered bellas. Actually, it all started with a kikay planner- The Belle de jour Power planner. Then a community was formed involving mostly users of planners and  kikay girls alike. As for me, I've been a BDJ planner user for five years. I go to the event (if time allows me to) because this is where I can buy the new and upcoming planner in a much lower price compared to its selling price.
