Review: In2it Waterproof Single Blush in Charm

This post is dedicated to my boyfriend's sister who loves to rave about in2it products. She loves the brand so much she's literally into it. (Can I get an A for that intro?)

Anyways, one of the things I noticed about her is the beautiful shine she has on her cheeks - not greasy type of shine - but a lovely flash of highlight. So, I thought of trying out in2it's blush for the first time.

When I went there, most of their blushes were sold out. The sales assistant said their blushes are their best sellers- no doubt about it. So, I asked her what shade can she recommend for my skin tone and she confidently suggested the shade "Charm." I tried out some of their blushes, pink ones in general, but Charm really stood out for me. The sales assistant was right, Charm definitely suites me better.

In2it Waterproof Single Blush in Charm is a peach blush with gold shimmers. I, for one, am afraid of shimmers because my face tends to become very oily and to add more shine would be a disaster. But Charm's golden shimmer gives a coral-ish glow that creates a subtle flash of color on the face. It's stunning yet so subtle. Because of this blush, I realized a little glow is not that bad even for the oily skin. Truth is, it compliments the oil on the face, creating a dewy facade on the cheeks.

The packaging is chic transparent case made of sturdy plastic. It looks very nice with girly design and glassy look. It comes with a small brush with soft synthetic hair; nothing fancy but can be used to apply the product on the face. It also has a small mirror that is not so much of a use because it is quite small. Well, it's the thought that counts - at least you have a mirror handy, I just wish it's bigger.

Here are the bullets for my thoughts:
- It has a natural looking shade with little sheen that gives life back to the face.
- This blush has good pigmentation and not even powdery. A little amount goes a long way.
- It stays on my oily face pretty long although I still need to do some touch ups during the day since I do have oily face and the product tend to slide away but the longevity is quite amazing.
- Thank God this blush didn't break me out, which always happens when I am trying out new face product. Though,I have to say my skin is generally pretty good to me lately.
-  I just wish the mirror is bigger. The mirror contained in the packaging is useful for eyebrow application because it so small but quite useless for blush application as you don't really see your full cheeks with it.
- This costs P400, a bit pricey compared to other blushes but the price is justified with a good product.
-  Available in all In2it counters at different malls, beauty sections, and retails outlets nationwide.

So far, that's all I can say about the product. I am still testing it out so I might update this post but in the moment I am loving the product and I am satisfied with my purchase.

Anyways, that's all for now...

Bye!!!

Pieces of My Month March

Happy Tuesday everyone! I have just realized that the first quarter of 2014 have passed and I am loving my year so far. There are times when I wish I could have done more but I guess it's better to give myself a pat on the back and celebrate my successes rather than being too harsh on myself. Sometimes, I tend to forget I can only do enough. First week of March, I was able to celebrate Fat Tuesday with my church friends. Fat Tuesday, if you have no idea what it is, is  the day before Ash Wednesday--the start of Lenten season.  Since Fat Tuesday is the day before fasting and abstinence, devout Catholics are having a merry gathering of food and laughter before pursuing a month of sacrifice and soul-searching.   Aside from the beginning of Lenten season, March also marks the start of summer. I had an early summer with my friends at Bakas River, Norzagaray, Bulacan. The place is such a marvellous tranquil, perfect for escaping the urban life. . ...

My PIERCINGS- Accidents, Stories, Reasons.. etc.

Elow elow elow Dear Reader! So, today, I bought new set of earrings and I realized, I haven't really talked about my piercing experience. So, I thought maybe I should answer some common questions about my piercings and piercing in general. How many piercings do you have? As of the moment, I have a total of six individual piercings. Three on the left ear, three on the right. When did you get them and why? 1. The first pair was done when I was four or five years old. I remember my father bringing me to a little health center and telling me to just tilt my head and that was it. I don't have much to say about this piercing because it was like a "default" kind of thing - sort of a tradition or one of those mandatory things a girl has to go through-  so nothing special in this pair. Also, I was too young to remember how it felt like. Too young to even comprehend. But I remember being happy having the privilege to wear such pretty gold earrings. I had the rest ...

You Can't Eat Beauty

"My mother used to say to me, "You can’t eat beauty, it doesn’t feed you." And these words played and bothered me, I didn’t really understand them until finally I realized that beauty was not a thing that I could acquire or consume. It was something that I just had to be. And what my mother meant by saying that "you can’t eat beauty" was that you can’t rely on beauty to sustain you.  What actually sustains us, what is fundamentally beautiful is compassion for yourself and those around you. That kind of beauty enflames the heart and enchants the soul."

REVIEW: L.A. Girl Gel Liner

Hello hello hello! Three reviews in three consecutive days? Wow, this girl is on Fa-yah! Okay, let's do this. Today, I get a little overboard editing some of my photos through editing app called Decopic. Ang cute cute! Been wanting to put stamps on my photos, and I tried some apps but I can't seem to find the kawaii app that suits all my needs. Finally now I have Decopic. Ain't she lovely? I spent like hours tweaking my photos... Anyways--- (Sorry I forgot this is about an eyeliner, not an app. hihihi) Howell, been using this gel liner for two weeks now and I thought I might do a review on this one because (surprise surprise) I love it! I really haven't heard anything about this gel liner as compared to some popular drugstore gel liners such as  from Wet n Wild and Maybelline so I don't have much expectation about this product. But then, as I use every single day, I am actually enjoying it. Mine is in brown shade. Well, I do prefer brown ...
