Review: In2it Waterproof Single Blush in Charm

This post is dedicated to my boyfriend's sister who loves to rave about in2it products. She loves the brand so much she's literally into it. (Can I get an A for that intro?)

Anyways, one of the things I noticed about her is the beautiful shine she has on her cheeks - not greasy type of shine - but a lovely flash of highlight. So, I thought of trying out in2it's blush for the first time.

When I went there, most of their blushes were sold out. The sales assistant said their blushes are their best sellers- no doubt about it. So, I asked her what shade can she recommend for my skin tone and she confidently suggested the shade "Charm." I tried out some of their blushes, pink ones in general, but Charm really stood out for me. The sales assistant was right, Charm definitely suites me better.

In2it Waterproof Single Blush in Charm is a peach blush with gold shimmers. I, for one, am afraid of shimmers because my face tends to become very oily and to add more shine would be a disaster. But Charm's golden shimmer gives a coral-ish glow that creates a subtle flash of color on the face. It's stunning yet so subtle. Because of this blush, I realized a little glow is not that bad even for the oily skin. Truth is, it compliments the oil on the face, creating a dewy facade on the cheeks.

The packaging is chic transparent case made of sturdy plastic. It looks very nice with girly design and glassy look. It comes with a small brush with soft synthetic hair; nothing fancy but can be used to apply the product on the face. It also has a small mirror that is not so much of a use because it is quite small. Well, it's the thought that counts - at least you have a mirror handy, I just wish it's bigger.

Here are the bullets for my thoughts:
- It has a natural looking shade with little sheen that gives life back to the face.
- This blush has good pigmentation and not even powdery. A little amount goes a long way.
- It stays on my oily face pretty long although I still need to do some touch ups during the day since I do have oily face and the product tend to slide away but the longevity is quite amazing.
- Thank God this blush didn't break me out, which always happens when I am trying out new face product. Though,I have to say my skin is generally pretty good to me lately.
-  I just wish the mirror is bigger. The mirror contained in the packaging is useful for eyebrow application because it so small but quite useless for blush application as you don't really see your full cheeks with it.
- This costs P400, a bit pricey compared to other blushes but the price is justified with a good product.
-  Available in all In2it counters at different malls, beauty sections, and retails outlets nationwide.

So far, that's all I can say about the product. I am still testing it out so I might update this post but in the moment I am loving the product and I am satisfied with my purchase.

Anyways, that's all for now...

Bye!!!

Revlon Color Lustrous Lip Gloss in Gold Frost

Ever since I started working, I have been wearing lipsticks all the time and neglecting the joys a lipgloss can do. I don't know if it's the age or maybe I have worn a lot of gloss when I was on my teens that I feel lipstick is  for my twenties. But, when I saw Revlon Color Lustrous lipgloss, I cant help but fall in love once again with lip glosses.  Why do I love this gloss? Let me count the ways.. 1. The shade is a beautiful golden nude that has a bit of shimmer, not glitters, that creates a lovely shine to the lips.  2. It glides on smoothly and is not sticky to wear. 3. Opacity is just right, not too opaque, not too sheer.  I got this on sale so the price is way lower than usual, I got this for only P200 (such a steal right?)\The sales assistant told me that Revlon booths placed in the middle of the malls have more sale items compared to counters located inside the department stores. So, if you are looki...

AT LEAST I CAN STILL SEE: Living Life through Amblyopia

All my life, people thought I am just banlag (squint) or someone who has a scar on her right eye. What some people do not know exactly is that I am almost blind. After thousands of eye tests to different ophthalmologists and optometrists, mine is a rare condition called Amblyopia (also known as lazy eye) coupled with color-blindness. Let us first start with my right eye. If you will look closely into my cornea, it has this white scar that originated by birth. If I will only use my right eye and let my left eye be closed, I will see everything in blur. Because of an inborn scar, there is a small white cast blocking my right eye, I cannot see the details of an image. I only see a vision, a blur, a shape. For example, if there is a calendar in front of me, looking only through my right eye, I would only see a white rectangle with dots and some lines. Imagine watching TV with white sheer cloth in front of your eyes-- that's the perspective of my right eye. God must have pi...

My Birthday Shenanigans : ABS-CBN Tour and ASAP Live

August is my birthday month so instead of doing my usual "Pieces of My Month" series, I decided to make it more special by doing series of posts called "My Birthday Shenanigans." I know that this has been an overdue post as we are already running through "BER" months, but as I have said before, it is better to post late than never. Anyways, one of the major things I did during my birthday was to take a tour around ABS-CBN studio.  ABS-CBN is the largest broadcasting network in the Philippines as far as I know. So, if you are living in the Philippines, there is no way you do not know what ABS-CBN  is. It has produced tons of television shows, entertainers, artists, broadcasters, movies, etc. My brother and my sister-in-law (who was also celebrating her birthday that day) were kind enough to invite me to join them in seeing the "behind the scenes" of TV production.  OUTFIT OF THE DAY: White Blouse Aztec Skirt Black Shoes Messeng...

Begin Your Love Story with Friendship

My love story started with friendship. Friendship with myself, that is. Most people would talk about how to find love and how to make it last forever, but people rarely talk about who they are before the love story began. No one has taken the time to look at where those people with wonderful relationship came from. We mostly talk about what's happening inside a love story, but I guess it's time we talk about the pre-production stage and see how loving our own "single" self makes us suitable to be a loving partner. Before I had my first boyfriend, all I know about romantic love is the imagination set to me by the embellished words of Elizabeth Browning and Shakespeare.  I had my first boyfriend at the late age at the ripe age of 22 (I am happy to admit I am still with the same man now that I am 28 years old.) While some of my friends are getting married at that age, or maybe they have collected few boyfriends already, I was just starting to know what real relati...
