Revlon Color Lustrous Lip Gloss in Gold Frost

Ever since I started working, I have been wearing lipsticks all the time and neglecting the joys a lipgloss can do. I don't know if it's the age or maybe I have worn a lot of gloss when I was on my teens that I feel lipstick is  for my twenties. But, when I saw Revlon Color Lustrous lipgloss, I cant help but fall in love once again with lip glosses.  Why do I love this gloss? Let me count the ways.. 1. The shade is a beautiful golden nude that has a bit of shimmer, not glitters, that creates a lovely shine to the lips.  2. It glides on smoothly and is not sticky to wear. 3. Makeup Look: Purple Haze

Lately, my mind has been filled with lots of make-up goals such as going pro, make-up schools, products to invest on, getting a freelance traincase, etc. etc. I am literally planning how to take this make-up fantasy into the next level. You see, it is easy to put make-up on my face, but to do it on other people is a whole new different thing. Oh, well, I think I just have to figure out my next step. Along with this fantasy, I have also been sketching A LOT of make-up looks so that I will not forget the idea I have in my mind. Happy Halloween Everyone!!! I know that most of you are celebrating the dead these days (horror films, zombies, monsters, vampires, white ladies, scary dolls, etcetera), but my Mama is celebrating her birth, contrary to the holiday, so let me just give her a little shout out "Happy Birthday, Mama!" I honestly don't have prominent eye bags, so a little foundation can cover up the redness of my under eye area. Pieces of My Month: October

Wake me up when September October ends... I was talking to a dear friend about my never ending dilemmas, and she said I am stuck and I have the right to change things, that is, if I really want to.  For the past two months, I am in a battle field, and I hid like a hermit, I hid from my own emotions. But as days pass by, I am slowly finding peace. I don't want to be depressed. I look at the people around me, the people I love and who love me, I let go of my creative juices, I write blogposts, I sketch, I went to reunions, I interact, I played with make-up -- and I am fine. I believe I have a huge fighting chance. I just don't want to be vulnerable... it's just me. That's the Leo in me. I will growl and I will find strength inside me, it's innate in me. Jazzy Collections Eyebrow Gel

I was doing a little stroll along beauty section when the sales assistant asked me, "Ma'am, ano pong nilagay niyo sa kilay nio, ang ganda kasi e, sanay na sanay kayo magkilay..." "Maam, what product did you use on your eyebrows? You are really good on doing your brows!"  Truth is, I wasn't always this good with brows. I had my fair share of uneven brows, messy brows, overplucked, bushy, wrong shape, wrong curves. But by having those mistakes, I learned how to perfect my brows, I learned by doing, which I think is one of the most important thing when it comes to make-up. You learn every single time you do it. Review: Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick in Honey Nectar

Hello, marvellous! I'm back with another review and today I am showing you the best pink lipstick I ever had so far. As I recall, my last pink lipstick review was Revlon Stormy pink and it wasn't a good love story. I also remembered buying Nyx Narcissus and it's just plain wrong for my tan skin -  I was screaming Nikki Minaj. But then, after months of wearing either a nude lipstick ( In2it Orange Fizz ) or red lipstick ( CD Rouge Allure ), I am craving for something flashy, girly, and colorful. Review: In2it Waterproof Single Blush in Charm

This post is dedicated to my boyfriend's sister who loves to rave about in2it products. She loves the brand so much she's literally into it. (Can I get an A for that intro?) Anyways, one of the things I noticed about her is the beautiful shine she has on her cheeks - not greasy type of shine - but a lovely flash of highlight. So, I thought of trying out in2it's blush for the first time. When I went there, most of their blushes were sold out. The sales assistant said their blushes are their best sellers- no doubt about it. So, I asked her what shade can she recommend for my skin tone and she confidently suggested the shade "Charm." I tried out some of their blushes, pink ones in general, but Charm really stood out for me. The sales assistant was right, Charm definitely suites me better. Inspired by Zooey Deschanel

Hello, marvellous!! Just a quick nail art recreation for all of you. This is not the first time I adored Zooey's nails.  Every time I watch her in "New Girl," I can't help but check out her nails.  She loves to wear cute and quirky nail arts that perfectly match her equally quirky personality. So, today, I thought of doing a simple nail art she wore some time years ago.  Truth is, I am not really sure where and when she wore this one.  I think I grabbed this photo a year ago and buried it deep into my computer files.  However, as I rearrange my files last week, this picture came about and I thought of finally recreating the design. As you can see it is just so simple yet so cute.  Here are the steps: First, put some purple base color on. Next, put on some scotch tape at the tip of the nails to serve as a guide. When I was in kindergarten, I had a hard time understanding Math specifically the lesson in  “greater than- less than-equal to” equations. My mother, being a teacher, helped me understand the lesson by using analogy . In a manner of storytelling, she told me that the sign corresponding greater than/less than/equal to is  Pacman  (the famous computer game back then), while the numbers in the equation represent the amount of apples . She told me I have to point Pacman’s mouth to the larger amount so he can eat more apples. I never failed at greater than/less than/equal to lesson ever again. It was late September when I started "Marvellous Much." For two months, I labored myself from taking photos to writing to editing and then publishing. I took this as my own, my baby, my little sanctuary. Although I've done several blogs before, this is the first time I have ever done a blog that is somehow commercial and is focusing on a certain niche. I aim to create a professional blog on this one, something that I can give to the world. Every now and then, before I click the "publish" button, I would see myself stepping back and forth. I know I doubt myself so much. I always see myself as not good enough. Every time I would go public, things scream unto my head - words such as "what will they think of my work?" "Is this great?" BDJ FAIR 2015

This is my third time to go to this yearly event hosted by BDJ. First time, I went with a friend (Well, hello Ghem!). The next one, boyfie was with me. This time, I decided to just go by myself . I tried to maximize the event so I spent the whole afternoon going from one booth to another. I also pre-registered to two talks/seminars to get an insight or two. If you haven't heard of them yet, BDJ is a community of empowered bellas. Actually, it all started with a kikay planner- The Belle de jour Power planner. Then a community was formed involving mostly users of planners and  kikay girls alike. As for me, I've been a BDJ planner user for five years. I go to the event (if time allows me to) because this is where I can buy the new and upcoming planner in a much lower price compared to its selling price. EOS Lip Balm, Overrated?

I was looking at old photos in my computer and I saw these cute pictures of EOS Lipbalm and I remembered how much I love this product but I shelved it for various reasons. EOS and I had some good times, you know. I enjoyed the days when kissing it feels fruity on my lips. But then, I have slowly fallen out of love from it. It wasn't because it was a horrible product but because it didn't last on me and I think there’s so many lip balms out there that offers better service than just cute packaging and fruity taste.  Let me give you the details of our love story. Wedding Bliss: Requirements for Marriage in the Philippines

So, you've decided to get married and you booked your first few wedding suppliers. You started ticking off your wedding checklist. Everything is a bliss... until...the boring paperwork. But of course if you want to get married, you have to make sure it is LEGAL. Right? So, if you are one of those who are about to tie the knot, let me help you by giving you a list of the legal documents you will be needing. Birth Certificate (PSA Copy) -  (6 months validity)   We got our Birth Certificate at SM North Edsa because it was so convenient to get it there. The only con is that you have to wait for 10 business days before receiving this document. You can get it also in PSA Main Office but let me warn you that it was the worst government office sysyem I have ever experienced so I am not going to recommend you going your PSA copy there. MT. ROMELO, my first hiking experience

Last year, around May of 2015, i joined a group hike (it was my first) and though I experienced horrible physical pain, I feel like sharing it on this blog.  The following paragraph was taken from my journal entry written few days after the climb. It was edited a bit to fit my present view. Climbing Mt. Romelo was one of the hardest travel experiences I've ever done in my entire life. It was the longest two days of my life and it felt like I traveled from the moon and back with my bare foot. I went there on a whim, a single invitation from a friend a day before the start of the journey. I didn't expect the hardship that I was about to encounter.
