Revlon Color Lustrous Lip Gloss in Gold Frost

Ever since I started working, I have been wearing lipsticks all the time and neglecting the joys a lipgloss can do. I don't know if it's the age or maybe I have worn a lot of gloss when I was on my teens that I feel lipstick is  for my twenties. But, when I saw Revlon Color Lustrous lipgloss, I cant help but fall in love once again with lip glosses.  Why do I love this gloss? Let me count the ways.. 1. The shade is a beautiful golden nude that has a bit of shimmer, not glitters, that creates a lovely shine to the lips.  2. It glides on smoothly and is not sticky to wear. 3. Makeup Look: Purple Haze

Lately, my mind has been filled with lots of make-up goals such as going pro, make-up schools, products to invest on, getting a freelance traincase, etc. etc. I am literally planning how to take this make-up fantasy into the next level. You see, it is easy to put make-up on my face, but to do it on other people is a whole new different thing. Oh, well, I think I just have to figure out my next step. Along with this fantasy, I have also been sketching A LOT of make-up looks so that I will not forget the idea I have in my mind. Happy Halloween Everyone!!! I know that most of you are celebrating the dead these days (horror films, zombies, monsters, vampires, white ladies, scary dolls, etcetera), but my Mama is celebrating her birth, contrary to the holiday, so let me just give her a little shout out "Happy Birthday, Mama!" I honestly don't have prominent eye bags, so a little foundation can cover up the redness of my under eye area. Pieces of My Month: October

Wake me up when September October ends... I was talking to a dear friend about my never ending dilemmas, and she said I am stuck and I have the right to change things, that is, if I really want to.  For the past two months, I am in a battle field, and I hid like a hermit, I hid from my own emotions. But as days pass by, I am slowly finding peace. I don't want to be depressed. I look at the people around me, the people I love and who love me, I let go of my creative juices, I write blogposts, I sketch, I went to reunions, I interact, I played with make-up -- and I am fine. I believe I have a huge fighting chance. I just don't want to be vulnerable... it's just me. That's the Leo in me. I will growl and I will find strength inside me, it's innate in me. I will never be tired of fighting. \ I am happy I am surrounded by people-- True people-- and not the digital ones.... They protect me from being miserable... They make living worthwhile... ...

Jazzy Collections Eyebrow Gel

I was doing a little stroll along beauty section when the sales assistant asked me, "Ma'am, ano pong nilagay niyo sa kilay nio, ang ganda kasi e, sanay na sanay kayo magkilay..." "Maam, what product did you use on your eyebrows? You are really good on doing your brows!"  Truth is, I wasn't always this good with brows. I had my fair share of uneven brows, messy brows, overplucked, bushy, wrong shape, wrong curves. But by having those mistakes, I learned how to perfect my brows, I learned by doing, which I think is one of the most important thing when it comes to make-up. You learn every single time you do it. Review: Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick in Honey Nectar

Hello, marvellous! I'm back with another review and today I am showing you the best pink lipstick I ever had so far. As I recall, my last pink lipstick review was Revlon Stormy pink and it wasn't a good love story. I also remembered buying Nyx Narcissus and it's just plain wrong for my tan skin -  I was screaming Nikki Minaj. Review: In2it Waterproof Single Blush in Charm

This post is dedicated to my boyfriend's sister who loves to rave about in2it products. She loves the brand so much she's literally into it. (Can I get an A for that intro?) Anyways, one of the things I noticed about her is the beautiful shine she has on her cheeks - not greasy type of shine - but a lovely flash of highlight. So, I thought of trying out in2it's blush for the first time. When I went there, most of their blushes were sold out. The sales assistant said their blushes are their best sellers- no doubt about it. So, I asked her what shade can she recommend for my skin tone and she confidently suggested the shade "Charm." I tried out some of their blushes, pink ones in general, but Charm really stood out for me. The sales assistant was right, Charm definitely suites me better. Inspired by Zooey Deschanel

Hello, marvellous!! Just a quick nail art recreation for all of you. This is not the first time I adored Zooey's nails.  Every time I watch her in "New Girl," I can't help but check out her nails.  She loves to wear cute and quirky nail arts that perfectly match her equally quirky personality. So, today, I thought of doing a simple nail art she wore some time years ago.  Truth is, I am not really sure where and when she wore this one.  I think I grabbed this photo a year ago and buried it deep into my computer files.  However, as I rearrange my files last week, this picture came about and I thought of finally recreating the design. As you can see it is just so simple yet so cute.  Here are the steps: First, put some purple base color on. Next, put on some scotch tape at the tip of the nails to serve as a guide. Treats for My Skin Courtesy of Gluta

This is a long and overdue post about the free facial and diamond peel given by the lovely people of Gluta. I am not the one to get facials because I am not comfortable getting under someone else's hands. (This is the reason why I keep on coming back to the same hairstylist). But this is free so might as well try it. (Who doesn't want free stuff anyway?) The event happened last month at Gluta booth, Robinsons Manila. Wedding Bliss: The Importance of Wedding Coordinator (Quintessence Philippines)

I am quite surprised that even after being married for almost a year now, I still get a ton of queries regarding wedding details and such. One common question I get is this: "Do I really need a wedding day coordinator?". My answer is always, always this big YES. Well, based on my experience, you can get away without an over-all full wedding coordinator because you can do the planning alone. However- and very important, I must say, that you get an on-the-day-coordinator . And please do get a legit one, not your friends or family, but a professional wedding coor. (Your friends want to enjoy the moment, too, so please don't give them yet another job to do. They can assist you in little things, but please leave everything to a legit coor.) Revlon Stormy Pink

This is gonna be short and sweet just to make up for a long blogging hiatus. I don’t have much luck when it comes to pink lipstick. It’s either wrong shade or wrong formula. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Stormy Pink is no exemption. A friend gave this to me and the color was love at first sight. It was purple-ish, Barbie-like pink tone. But then, after getting a bit tanner because of summer, it ain't BFF with my morena skin tone. Wearing this makes me feel like Nikki Minaj (Boom boorooom boom base!!!). But I think, this is perfect for girls who have pale skin or fairer skin . The formula is just so off. It’s sticky, but not pigmented, and it keeps on sliding on my lips as if I am using a cheap brand lipstick. (To tell you honestly, I am not considering Revlon as a drugstore brand because  it is a bit pricey here in the Philippines.) Guess who's back?

Hello blogsphere! How you doin?! Wow! It feels good to finally be back after a looong hiatus. I admit I miss creating paragraphs for this blog and I am just happy to finally touch my keyboard and write again. I know I should be doing a run down of my 2016 but to be honest, 2016 is the worst year of my life, I hated it so much that I just wanted to bid goodbye and move on to 2017. I will not go on with the details but my 2016 is filled with disappointments, loneliness, heartbreak, illness, and even death of a loved-one. I experienced major problems far from my maturity level that I feel like going back to beauty blogging is least of my interests. But then as I slowly recover and move forward, I realized how much I missed writing and doing beauty-related stuff. Blogging is one hobby that makes me happy and I think that we should always do what makes us happy no matter how hard life can be. Wedding Bliss: Anne Grace Lu, The Professional Makeup Artist

How can I not mention one of the first few suppliers that I booked, my wedding makeup artist, Miss Anne Grace Lu. She's been on my radar since 2013 (or something) when she did my makeup on my friend's wedding. I was the maid of honor back then and I really loved how she did my makeup so I didn't forget about her. EOS Lip Balm, Overrated?

I was looking at old photos in my computer and I saw these cute pictures of EOS Lipbalm and I remembered how much I love this product but I shelved it for various reasons. EOS and I had some good times, you know. I enjoyed the days when kissing it feels fruity on my lips. But then, I have slowly fallen out of love from it. It wasn't because it was a horrible product but because it didn't last on me and I think there’s so many lip balms out there that offers better service than just cute packaging and fruity taste.  Let me give you the details of our love story.
