Hello, marvellous!!

Just a quick nail art recreation for all of you.

This is not the first time I adored Zooey's nails.

Every time I watch her in "New Girl," I can't help but check out her nails.

She loves to wear cute and quirky nail arts that perfectly match her equally quirky personality.

So, today, I thought of doing a simple nail art she wore some time years ago.

Truth is, I am not really sure where and when she wore this one.

I think I grabbed this photo a year ago and buried it deep into my computer files.

However, as I rearrange my files last week, this picture came about and I thought of finally recreating the design.

As you can see it is just so simple yet so cute.

Here are the steps:

First, put some purple base color on.

Next, put on some scotch tape at the tip of the nails to serve as a guide.

Then, paint the tips with violet nail polish.

Then, before the violet polish gets dry, peel off the tape.

Finally, put on some top coat to seal the design.

And that's it! Celebrity nails right in front of you.

Pardon the messy nails (trust me, they look good from afar.)

Happy Tuesday everyone! I have just realized that the first quarter of 2014 have passed and I am loving my year so far. There are times when I wish I could have done more but I guess it's better to give myself a pat on the back and celebrate my successes rather than being too harsh on myself. Since Fat Tuesday is the day before fasting and abstinence, devout Catholics are having a merry gathering of food and laughter before pursuing a month of sacrifice and soul-searching. Once a gay friend told me, "Red lipstick is so back then." I immediately replied back and told him a true lady would say otherwise. For a real woman, red lipstick is a timeless weapon to look and feel beautiful. My first lipstick is a red one and up until now, even if I have other shades of lipsticks, red will always be on my stash. You Can't Eat Beauty

Living in a country where straight hair rules, finding a good styling product for the curly hair is such a pain in the ey-ess-ess. Treats for My Skin Courtesy of Gluta

This is a long and overdue post about the free facial and diamond peel given by the lovely people of Gluta. I am not the one to get facials because I am not comfortable getting under someone else's hands. (This is the reason why I keep on coming back to the same hairstylist). But this is free so might as well try it. (Who doesn't want free stuff anyway?) The event happened last month at Gluta booth, Robinsons Manila.
