LOL Liquid Eyeliner Review


Last Thursday, I was invited to render an intermission number for an event and I have to buy me some make-up. It is inevitable for me to buy make-up prior to the performance because obviously I need to create a presentable slash diva-ish look since people will be all eyes on me for more than five minutes. Something new to wear gives a girl more confidence, may it be clothes or make-up, and of course, whenever you sing in front of the crowd, you need all the confidence you can get.
I decided to buy a new eyeliner because my Fanny Serrano felt tip liner is already going crazy after months of usage.  After minutes of rummaging the beauty section of SM North, I decided to try out this inexpensive brand called LOL. I've been eyeing this LOL liquid eyeliner the first time I saw it on Watsons. I know it's not a good idea to try out new brand on a performance night but I have this gut feeling that this could be a eureka for finding an inexpensive but effective eyeliner.

I chose dark brown because I haven't tried this color yet. I am a fan of black eyeliner but I want to see what dark brown looks like on me. This color is very natural and subtle. If you are aiming for a natural look, dark brown eyeliner is the way to go.

I am already used to applying eyeliners so I didn't have a hard time lining my eyes with this one. Though I am a fan of felt tip liner, I think this one is easier to use especially on the inner corner of my hooded eyes.

This is one of the most inexpensive eyeliners I have seen in Watsons. I bought this product for only P139.00. I just love inexpensive but never cheap make-up products.

To test the quality of this product, I did some swatches at the back of my hand:











I also tried to do some water testing by placing it under faucet with running water and no smudging whatsoever.









I tried to rub it and it faded a bit but still no smudging. Take note that I have to rub this one very hard as if I am literally erasing it.

Treats for My Skin Courtesy of Gluta

This is a long and overdue post about the free facial and diamond peel given by the lovely people of Gluta. I am not the one to get facials because I am not comfortable getting under someone else's hands. (This is the reason why I keep on coming back to the same hairstylist). But this is free so might as well try it. (Who doesn't want free stuff anyway?) The event happened last month at Gluta booth, Robinsons Manila. Pieces of my Month: AUGUST 2015

Last year, I did some kind of a monthly gratitude list wherein I gather all images of important happenings in my life for that certain month. My PIERCINGS- Accidents, Stories, Reasons.. etc.

Elow elow elow Dear Reader! So, today, I bought new set of earrings and I realized, I haven't really talked about my piercing experience. So, I thought maybe I should answer some common questions about my piercings and piercing in general. How many piercings do you have? As of the moment, I have a total of six individual piercings.
