Avon True Color Eyeshadow Quad in Emerald Cut


Avon True Color Eyeshadow Quad in Emerald Cut has been on my stash for quite a while now and I have been reaching out for it every now and then so I guess it's just about time to do a little review about it.

My sweet, sweet mother gave this particular quad to me and it's like a reincarnation of my former Avon eye shadow quad in Purple Haze. The only difference, aside from the color, is the arrangement of the eye shadows.

 

So, after months of using, here are the bullet points:
  • These eye shadows have different types of pigmentation. The yellow one (number 1) has the best pigmentation of all; darker ones have good pigmentation while the peach one has a very, very light pigmentation.
  • I find myself always using the yellow one on the inner corner of my eye because it is much pigmented while I always ignore the peach one (number 2) because it feels like I’m not putting anything on my lids when using it.



  • I don't use these eye shadows together because in my opinion, they just don't compliment each other. But I love using one or more of the four eye shadows together with other eye shadows. I think they look better that way.
  • It has a sleek black packaging that is classy and sturdy so you won't have to worry about crushing it on your purse.
  • Lasting power is fine but then again, they have different lasting power so it's quite hard to determine how long they will last on your lids.

AT LEAST I CAN STILL SEE: Living Life through Amblyopia

All my life, people thought I am just banlag (squint) or someone who has a scar on her right eye. What some people do not know exactly is that I am almost blind. Revlon Color Lustrous Lip Gloss in Gold Frost

Ever since I started working, I have been wearing lipsticks all the time and neglecting the joys a lipgloss can do. My Birthday Shenanigans : ABS-CBN Tour and ASAP Live

August is my birthday month so instead of doing my usual "Pieces of My Month" series, I decided to make it more special by doing series of posts called "My Birthday Shenanigans." PIECES OF MY MONTH : JANUARY

Goodness. Is it February already? 2016? WOW! Time. flies. so. freaking. fast. The last time I checked, I was just dreaming of 2016.
