Yes, definitely, Revlon Colorstay is here to stay . I believe that the greatest asset of Revlon Colorstay Foundation is the foundation formula itself. You may hate it for any other reasons such as no pump, limited color selection, and tricky application, but you will definitely keep on reaching out for this foundie because the formula itself is so irresistible in terms of coverage, longevity, and finish that somehow you finally understood why this drugstore foundation have created a cult in the beauty arena.   Did I just make a little speech out of Revlon Colorstay Foundation? Treats for My Skin Courtesy of Gluta

This is a long and overdue post about the free facial and diamond peel given by the lovely people of Gluta. I am not the one to get facials because I am not comfortable getting under someone else's hands. (This is the reason why I keep on coming back to the same hairstylist). But this is free so might as well try it. (Who doesn't want free stuff anyway?) The event happened last month at Gluta booth, Robinsons Manila. This is part of the launch of their Gluta White and Firm line, which according to the lady, the first product line that was able to produce all whitening products in just one launch (facial wash, lotion, soap, moisturizer, etc.) Gluta Advance White and Firm Products Now back to the facial, they first remove my makeup with a cleanser, then they further cleaned my whole face with another cleanser. New Year, New Traincase

Make-up is a hobby I can no longer resist, that I must admit. I am in love.  Though some may see cosmetics as artificial and materialistic, I see it as art, full of techniques and colors. I no longer see it as vanity, I see it as a skill to enhance what is already there, to bring out what is hidden, and to somehow create what is missing. I look at the actresses in TV and looked at the details of their blush or shadows or even the shape of their eyes and I tried to imagine what did the makeup artist applyon their face. I long to do more of this, and I hope I can continue this passion. Anyhoo, if that ain't being too melodramatic about makeup, let me continue by happily sharing with you, dear reader, that I finally got a traincase. Elow elow elow Dear Reader! So, today, I bought new set of earrings and I realized, I haven't really talked about my piercing experience. So, I thought maybe I should answer some common questions about my piercings and piercing in general. How many piercings do you have? As of the moment, I have a total of six individual piercings. Three on the left ear, three on the right. When did you get them and why? 1. The first pair was done when I was four or five years old. I remember my father bringing me to a little health center and telling me to just tilt my head and that was it. I don't have much to say about this piercing because it was like a "default" kind of thing - sort of a tradition or one of those mandatory things a girl has to go through-  so nothing special in this pair. Inspired by Mona Lisa Smile: Christian Dior Rouge Dolce Vita 014

Once a gay friend told me, "Red lipstick is so back then." I immediately replied back and told him a true lady would say otherwise. For a real woman, red lipstick is a timeless weapon to look and feel beautiful. My first lipstick is a red one and up until now, even if I have other shades of lipsticks, red will always be on my stash. So, today, I thought of highlighting the most precious red lipstick I own, my precious baby,  Christian Dior’s Rouge Dolce Vita in #014. Timeless as it is, the inspiration for today's lipstick is the movie The Mona Lisa Smile which is set in 1950's. This might come as a shock but I am a former nail biter. It is pretty ironic that this girl who loves to blog about nails is a former nail biter. Funny right?  Basically, I just realized that the cause of my disgusting habit is my addiction to my nails. So, instead of pricking on my nails, why not turn it into something positive and make my nails pretty instead? Review: Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick in Honey Nectar

Hello, marvellous! I'm back with another review and today I am showing you the best pink lipstick I ever had so far. As I recall, my last pink lipstick review was Revlon Stormy pink and it wasn't a good love story. I also remembered buying Nyx Narcissus and it's just plain wrong for my tan skin -  I was screaming Nikki Minaj. But then, after months of wearing either a nude lipstick ( In2it Orange Fizz ) or red lipstick ( CD Rouge Allure ), I am craving for something flashy, girly, and colorful. NOTD: Bride and Bridesmaids

This post will be photo heavy so beware. Anyways, been wanting to try out some nail stickers but I am not really sure why I haven't had the chance to actually buy and put them on my nails.  However, a visit to a craft store led me to find these cute flowers so I thought of giving these stickers a try. I like them actually. What do you think? These nails remind me of my brother's wedding which I actually attended as the maid of honor... Pieces of My Month March

Happy Tuesday everyone! I have just realized that the first quarter of 2014 have passed and I am loving my year so far. There are times when I wish I could have done more but I guess it's better to give myself a pat on the back and celebrate my successes rather than being too harsh on myself. Sometimes, I tend to forget I can only do enough. First week of March, I was able to celebrate Fat Tuesday with my church friends. Fat Tuesday, if you have no idea what it is, is  the day before Ash Wednesday--the start of Lenten season.  Since Fat Tuesday is the day before fasting and abstinence, devout Catholics are having a merry gathering of food and laughter before pursuing a month of sacrifice and soul-searching.   Aside from the beginning of Lenten season, March also marks the start of summer.
