REVIEW: ZA 12-in-1 Total Hydration BB Cream UV White

Hello, Marvellous!!!

I am in the mood to give you all a review about my first ever BB cream- that is, ZA 12-in-1 Total Hydration BB Cream UV White. I feel weird saying that I am a shy virgin when it comes to BB cream because this product has been the "holy grail" of smooth, clean, korean-ish look. Am I the only one who just recently stepped into BB craze?

If you have been reading this blog, you may know that this BB cream is one of the four products I received from a blog giveaway. Before this, I am already planning to buy BB cream from other brand (Missha BB cream in particular) but fate led me to this one.

It has been years since BB creams penetrate worldwide beauty arena and a lot has been said about this wonder product. If I am not mistaken, almost all beauty brands have their own BB creams and most beauty junkies had tried multiple brands of BB creams already.

With ZA BB cream, I now understand the rave. I got this one from a beauty blog giveaway and I am just so glad I tried this one. I am now a BB cream believer.

Here's my 5 C's for ZA BB Cream

1. Consistency - Smooth, Breezy, Light. This has an amazing consistency that sits comfortably on my face. I don't like liquid make-up to begin with. But with this BB cream, I don't feel like I am putting liquid nor cream on my face. It really feels natural on the face. Love love love the consistency of this BB cream

2. Coverage - Lightens. Whitens. I can't say much about the coverage of this BB cream, but it definitely lightens my face. I actually like how it makes my face smooth and whiter. This has 50++ spf so that's a plus knowing that most spfs can really be so sticky and oily on the face.

3. Color - Bright is my shade which is a bit whiter than my skin tone but I actually like how it whitens my skin. It brightens my face without making me look like I piled a ton of foundation of my face.

4. Content - I'm surprised this small tube lasted for four months of everyday use. I use it for work, for dates, for church -- everyday. I thought it will only last for two months but surprise surprise four months and I still haven't had my last drop. Just wow.

5. Cost - I got this for free but if you want to buy this, spare more or less 500 pesos for this one.

I love this BB cream. I am planning to buy my second tube once I fully drained this one out (I still have few squeeze to go-- sayang e.)

That's all for now beautiful people. Love you all!

Bye!!!

TURNING PAGES: Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell

When I was in kindergarten, I had a hard time understanding Math specifically the lesson in  “greater than- less than-equal to” equations. My mother, being a teacher, helped me understand the lesson by using analogy . In a manner of storytelling, she told me that the sign corresponding greater than/less than/equal to is  Pacman  (the famous computer game back then), while the numbers in the equation represent the amount of apples . She told me I have to point Pacman’s mouth to the larger amount so he can eat more apples. I never failed at greater than/less than/equal to lesson ever again. SOURCE: h ttp://prekandksharing.blogspot.com/2012/08/montessori-inspired-greater-than-less.html Outliers  by Malcolm Gladwell is a lot like my mom’s way of teaching me Math. It is composed of analogies and stories that helped me understand the wisdom behind success. It will not tell you what to do, it will ask you to analyze the roots of success and w...

My PIERCINGS- Accidents, Stories, Reasons.. etc.

Elow elow elow Dear Reader! So, today, I bought new set of earrings and I realized, I haven't really talked about my piercing experience. So, I thought maybe I should answer some common questions about my piercings and piercing in general. How many piercings do you have? As of the moment, I have a total of six individual piercings. Three on the left ear, three on the right. When did you get them and why? 1. The first pair was done when I was four or five years old. I remember my father bringing me to a little health center and telling me to just tilt my head and that was it. I don't have much to say about this piercing because it was like a "default" kind of thing - sort of a tradition or one of those mandatory things a girl has to go through-  so nothing special in this pair. Also, I was too young to remember how it felt like. Too young to even comprehend. But I remember being happy having the privilege to wear such pretty gold earrings. I had the rest ...

Jazzy Collections Eyebrow Gel

I was doing a little stroll along beauty section when the sales assistant asked me, "Ma'am, ano pong nilagay niyo sa kilay nio, ang ganda kasi e, sanay na sanay kayo magkilay..." "Maam, what product did you use on your eyebrows? You are really good on doing your brows!"  Truth is, I wasn't always this good with brows. I had my fair share of uneven brows, messy brows, overplucked, bushy, wrong shape, wrong curves. But by having those mistakes, I learned how to perfect my brows, I learned by doing, which I think is one of the most important thing when it comes to make-up. You learn every single time you do it. I still do mistakes from time to time, and I am still improving every single day, but I guess that's just the beauty of make-up. Sometimes, you've created a masterpiece, sometimes, you've created a trash... in that way, you enhance your skills. Okay, did I just became very sentimental about eyebrows? Yes, I did. Anyways,  ...

On Self-Acceptance

It was late September when I started "Marvellous Much." For two months, I labored myself from taking photos to writing to editing and then publishing. I took this as my own, my baby, my little sanctuary. Although I've done several blogs before, this is the first time I have ever done a blog that is somehow commercial and is focusing on a certain niche. I aim to create a professional blog on this one, something that I can give to the world. Every now and then, before I click the "publish" button, I would see myself stepping back and forth. I know I doubt myself so much. I always see myself as not good enough. Every time I would go public, things scream unto my head - words such as "what will they think of my work?" "Is this great?" "Will the people like it?" I hate this thing about myself. When you lack confidence, you lack strength. I hate myself for this. I hate that I sometimes hate myself. However, for the past two months, wi...

BDJ FAIR 2015

This is my third time to go to this yearly event hosted by BDJ. First time, I went with a friend (Well, hello Ghem!). The next one, boyfie was with me. This time, I decided to just go by myself . I tried to maximize the event so I spent the whole afternoon going from one booth to another. I also pre-registered to two talks/seminars to get an insight or two. If you haven't heard of them yet, BDJ is a community of empowered bellas. Actually, it all started with a kikay planner- The Belle de jour Power planner. Then a community was formed involving mostly users of planners and  kikay girls alike. As for me, I've been a BDJ planner user for five years. I go to the event (if time allows me to) because this is where I can buy the new and upcoming planner in a much lower price compared to its selling price. I bought my new planner for only 500 pesos as opposed to its original selling price of 580. Also, the event is actually pretty cool. You can go around, win some fu...

Inspired by Mona Lisa Smile: Christian Dior Rouge Dolce Vita 014

Once a gay friend told me, "Red lipstick is so back then." I immediately replied back and told him a true lady would say otherwise. For a real woman, red lipstick is a timeless weapon to look and feel beautiful. My first lipstick is a red one and up until now, even if I have other shades of lipsticks, red will always be on my stash. So, today, I thought of highlighting the most precious red lipstick I own, my precious baby,  Christian Dior’s Rouge Dolce Vita in #014. Timeless as it is, the inspiration for today's lipstick is the movie The Mona Lisa Smile which is set in 1950's. Just like the girls in the movie,  Christian Dior’s Rouge Dolce Vita in #014 is not in-your-face retro red lipstick because it has a slight hint of orange. Source "That's a snapshot"- Mona Lisa Smile It has a semi-matte finish but very creamy, it glides smoothly on the lips when applied. This is not for the faint heart because it is too striking and...
