Marionnaud Angled Brush

I think one of the unsung heroes of makeup is an angled brush. You see, if ever I will have one brush left in me, I would choose this brush alone because one, you can get your brows on fleek with this. Second, you can create a fine winged liner with this. Third, you can use it to create a sultry cut crease on your eyes. So versatile eh?

Now speaking of angled brushes, one of my all time favorite angled liner is from Marionnaud. They have two variants of this brush, one is a short, the other is longer one. I have both of them and they work really great, the only difference is the length. (I am not sure though if the short one is already phase out since I had them since few years ago.)

Marionnaud creates beautiful inexpensive brushes and this one is no different. The short one has a black shiny handle and a bit wider while the long one has matte velvety design and smaller brush. Confused? Well, never mind, they are almost identical though.

As you can see in the following photos how thin this brush is. This makes it perfect for brows and winged eyeliner. It also has soft bristles so you won't feel like scratching your eyes when using it.

Also, did I tell you that this brush is only less than a hundred pesos. Good deal for the price because let me tell you, I have used this thousands of times and it's still with me through think and thin (brows and liners.)

I also really like the black design of this brush because it looks so professional. I've been using it on clients and so far, it has been very reliable.

All in all, I really love this product and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice angled brush.

Review: In2it Waterproof Single Blush in Charm

This post is dedicated to my boyfriend's sister who loves to rave about in2it products. She loves the brand so much she's literally into it. (Can I get an A for that intro?) Revlon Stormy Pink

This is gonna be short and sweet just to make up for a long blogging hiatus. I don’t have much luck when it comes to pink lipstick. It’s either wrong shade or wrong formula. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Stormy Pink is no exemption. A friend gave this to me and the color was love at first sight. It was purple-ish, Barbie-like pink tone. But then, after getting a bit tanner because of summer, it ain't BFF with my morena skin tone. Wearing this makes me feel like Nikki Minaj (Boom boorooom boom base!!!). But I think, this is perfect for girls who have pale skin or fairer skin . The formula is just so off. It’s sticky, but not pigmented, and it keeps on sliding on my lips as if I am using a cheap brand lipstick. I honestly don't know how to start talking about our wedding host, Miss Nathalie Salcedo. I think I am still in awe on how amazing her hosting skills was during our wedding. Last Thursday, I was invited to render an intermission number for an event and I have to buy me some make-up.
