Pieces of my Month: AUGUST 2015

Last year, I did some kind of a monthly gratitude list wherein I gather all images of important happenings in my life for that certain month. I never get to do that this year so I am planning to do it once more. It has helped me to become more positive in life even though I have been struggling with lots of things and that my life is too far from being perfect. Also, I want to realize that there are certain things I need to be grateful for because sometimes I am not able to see good things happening around me. So in accordance of my "coming back to blogging" thang and because this is also part of my birthmonth celebration, I am listing down some pieces of my August.

Big part of my month is the celebration of my birthday with my family. We went to VIKINGS, a luxury all you can eat buffet. It was my first time there and I was just so happy to be with the whole family because I guess it was a rare chance that we get to eat out together as a whole.

Being a Viking suits me pretty well, don't you think?

This month is also the very month where I got to sing in front of the crowd once more. Music is my element. I feel so close to God whenever I get to sing. I pray I get to do more of this.

When I was in kindergarten, I had a hard time understanding Math specifically the lesson in “greater than- less than-equal to” equations. My mother, being a teacher, helped me understand the lesson by using analogy . It was late September when I started "Marvellous Much." For two months, I labored myself from taking photos to writing to editing and then publishing. I took this as my own, my baby, my little sanctuary. Although I've done several blogs before, this is the first time I have ever done a blog that is somehow commercial and is focusing on a certain niche. BDJ FAIR 2015

This is my third time to go to this yearly event hosted by BDJ. First time, I went with a friend (Well, hello Ghem!). The next one, boyfie was with me. This time, I decided to just go by myself . I tried to maximize the event so I spent the whole afternoon going from one booth to another. I also pre-registered to two talks/seminars to get an insight or two. If you haven't heard of them yet, BDJ is a community of empowered bellas. Actually, it all started with a kikay planner- The Belle de jour Power planner. Then a community was formed involving mostly users of planners and kikay girls alike. As for me, I've been a BDJ planner user for five years. I go to the event (if time allows me to) because this is where I can buy the new and upcoming planner in a much lower price compared to its selling price. Review: In2it Waterproof Single Blush in Charm

This post is dedicated to my boyfriend's sister who loves to rave about in2it products. She loves the brand so much she's literally into it. (Can I get an A for that intro?) Curly Find: Dove Nourishing Curls Whipped Cream Mousse

Living in a country where straight hair rules, finding a good styling product for the curly hair is such a pain in the ey-ess-ess. For the past few months, I've been experimenting on different hair products, mixing and jumbling all sorts of creams, mousse, gels, etc etc. Product after product, layers after layers.
