Inspired by Product Empties Tag: MISSHA TINT (AQUA GEL)

Obviously, I inhaled every single drop of my Missha Tint Aqua Gel and I am compelled to write something about it. I don't personally like tints to begin with, so finishing this one up is a huge surprise to me. I used to believe that tints are not for me because I never liked the sticky feeling of putting liquid on my cheeks. After finishing this one up, I realized that there are tints that I can surely fell in love with.

Speaking of falling in love, I never thought I loved this until I saw the before and after pictures of this product. I realized that this tint was always on hand whenever I feel lazy to put make-up on but still want to look polished. Also, I remembered kind of feeling sad when I realized I was down to my last swipe. Even sadder was the fact that I tried looking for the same product, but to my chagrin, it’s not available at Missha store anymore, they have other gel-type tint but it has different packaging so I’m not really sure if it’s the same product.

The product is not a liquid tint, but rather it's a gel-like texture (thus, the name) which, surprisingly I like.
You have to blend it though right after you put it because it dries so fast that you have to spread it right there and then or you would end up having blotches of red on your cheeks.
If you are into cheek tints, this is definitely a product worth trying because I do like the natural blush it gives on my face. One of the reasons why I finished this one is because this is great for everyday use. It looks natural and a little goes a long way.
I don’t really use this on my lips because it tastes so freaking bad- very bad. It’s as bitter as a chemical so if you are trying to find a tint that’s good for both lips and cheeks, this is not the product you are looking for.

I never knew Missha before this was gifted to me. This product came from a Korean friend and yes this product was directly brought from Korea. If I am not mistaken, Missha was not yet here in the Philippines when she gave this to me. However, when I started using this product, Missha slowly gains some presence in Filipino market. Maybe it's placebo effect or maybe it's just me. Missha is known for their BB creams but not their tints, but if you like tints, maybe you should try Missha’s and I think you will not be disappointed.

Treats for My Skin Courtesy of Gluta

This is a long and overdue post about the free facial and diamond peel given by the lovely people of Gluta. I am not the one to get facials because I am not comfortable getting under someone else's hands. (This is the reason why I keep on coming back to the same hairstylist). Living in a country where straight hair rules, finding a good styling product for the curly hair is such a pain in the ey-ess-ess. AT LEAST I CAN STILL SEE: Living Life through Amblyopia

All my life, people thought I am just banlag (squint) or someone who has a scar on her right eye. What some people do not know exactly is that I am almost blind. After thousands of eye tests to different ophthalmologists and optometrists, mine is a rare condition called Amblyopia (also known as lazy eye) coupled with color-blindness. Let us first start with my right eye. If you will look closely into my cornea, it has this white scar that originated by birth. If I will only use my right eye and let my left eye be closed, I will see everything in blur. Because of an inborn scar, there is a small white cast blocking my right eye, I cannot see the details of an image. I only see a vision, a blur, a shape. For example, if there is a calendar in front of me, looking only through my right eye, I would only see a white rectangle with dots and some lines. This post will be photo heavy so beware. Anyways, been wanting to try out some nail stickers but I am not really sure why I haven't had the chance to actually buy and put them on my nails. However, a visit to a craft store led me to find these cute flowers so I thought of giving these stickers a try. I like them actually. What do you think? These nails remind me of my brother's wedding which I actually attended as the maid of honor... I am the girl next to the bride... and as the wedding singer as well... Tragedy after Tragedy

My heart is breaking right now that no amount of manicure can ever heal. I thought of creating a nail of the day post (since this is what this blog is all about) but then it pains to see my countrymen face tragedy after tragedy that I feel a need to set aside a polish post and to really share what I feel and see around me. As of this writing, my lovely country, the Philippines, is under national calamity because part of the Philippines suffered from the super typhoon Haiyan. Prior to the typhoon, the country also bear magnitude 7 earthquake, heartbreaking terrorism in Zamboanga, and the additional issue of pork barrel scam. Millions have suffered and we Filipinos have suffered enough. There is no room for laughter. Any amount of fun is a sign of insensitivity.
