Inspired by Cotton Candies: OMG Nail Polishes

I confess, I am such a sweet tooth. I crave for anything sweet like chocolates, cake, candies, and chocolates! Did I say chocolate twice? So, forgive that the nail of the day is something I call “cotton candy” because the colors remind me of cotton candies sold in front of churches. Source My nails look' really sweet!!!   This pink and yellow combo is my take on the different-color-on-the-ring-finger trend and surprisingly I love it. This is my first time to shy away from the norm because I am more of one-color-polish type of girl. This combo grew close to me that I took hundred of photos of them. Inspired by Product Empties Tag: MISSHA TINT (AQUA GEL)

Obviously, I inhaled every single drop of my Missha Tint Aqua Gel and I am compelled to write something about it. I don't personally like tints to begin with, so finishing this one up is a huge surprise to me. I used to believe that tints are not for me because I never liked the sticky feeling of putting liquid on my cheeks. After finishing this one up, I realized that there are tints that I can surely fell in love with.  Speaking of falling in love, I never thought I loved this until I saw the before and after pictures of this product. I realized that this tint was always on hand whenever I feel lazy to put make-up on but still want to look polished. Also, I remembered kind of feeling sad when I realized I was down to my last swipe. Inspired by JLO's Nude Lips: In2it Moisture Intense Lipstick in Orange Fizz

I have always been on the hunt for a nice nude lipstick that can beautifully mute my pigmented lips. The desire to rummage around for the best neutral lipstick started when I would always see myself being drawn to wearing dark hues of eyeshadows, only to find out I have no nude lipstick to pair it with. I would always end up wearing light pink lipstick which I think is just fine but I wish I could have a neutral colored lipstick so the eyeshadows can pop rather than making the lipstick clash to the eye make-up. Should I say my hunt is always a fail. Sometimes, it’s too pale, too light, a lot of browns, lots of pinks, always a fail. What I really want to have is the kind of lipstick that will definitely erase my lips but won’t make me appear sickly. Arrrgh! Women are such confused beings! AT LEAST I CAN STILL SEE: Living Life through Amblyopia

All my life, people thought I am just banlag (squint) or someone who has a scar on her right eye. What some people do not know exactly is that I am almost blind. After thousands of eye tests to different ophthalmologists and optometrists, mine is a rare condition called Amblyopia (also known as lazy eye) coupled with color-blindness. Let us first start with my right eye. If you will look closely into my cornea, it has this white scar that originated by birth. If I will only use my right eye and let my left eye be closed, I will see everything in blur. Because of an inborn scar, there is a small white cast blocking my right eye, I cannot see the details of an image. I only see a vision, a blur, a shape. For example, if there is a calendar in front of me, looking only through my right eye, I would only see a white rectangle with dots and some lines. Revlon Color Lustrous Lip Gloss in Gold Frost

Ever since I started working, I have been wearing lipsticks all the time and neglecting the joys a lipgloss can do. I don't know if it's the age or maybe I have worn a lot of gloss when I was on my teens that I feel lipstick is  for my twenties. But, when I saw Revlon Color Lustrous lipgloss, I cant help but fall in love once again with lip glosses.  Why do I love this gloss? Let me count the ways.. 1. Elow elow elow Dear Reader! So, today, I bought new set of earrings and I realized, I haven't really talked about my piercing experience. So, I thought maybe I should answer some common questions about my piercings and piercing in general. How many piercings do you have? As of the moment, I have a total of six individual piercings. Three on the left ear, three on the right. When did you get them and why? 1. The first pair was done when I was four or five years old. I remember my father bringing me to a little health center and telling me to just tilt my head and that was it. Curly Find: Dove Nourishing Curls Whipped Cream Mousse

Living in a country where straight hair rules, finding a good styling product for the curly hair is such a pain in the ey-ess-ess. For the past few months, I've been experimenting on different hair products, mixing and jumbling all sorts of creams, mousse, gels, etc etc. Product after product, layers after layers.  I honestly sometimes feel like going back to straight hair is way easier and economical, than spending so much money on hair products, but then I do love my current buhahag hairstyle- I feel some sense of uniqueness and personality with this kind of hair- so I think I wold just go on with this journey and just enjoy every part of it. My Birthday Shenanigans : ABS-CBN Tour and ASAP Live

August is my birthday month so instead of doing my usual "Pieces of My Month" series, I decided to make it more special by doing series of posts called "My Birthday Shenanigans." I know that this has been an overdue post as we are already running through "BER" months, but as I have said before, it is better to post late than never. Anyways, one of the major things I did during my birthday was to take a tour around ABS-CBN studio.  ABS-CBN is the largest broadcasting network in the Philippines as far as I know. So, if you are living in the Philippines, there is no way you do not know what ABS-CBN  is.
